David Quevedo and Sarah Quevedo
Founders
Dave and Sarah Quevedo opened the doors to Fit Foundry in January 2017, after spending around seven years operating an in-home personal training business. Their vision? To bring a more accessible yet highly effective fitness experience to the Hoboken community by combining professional-level guidance with group training affordability.
Their purpose-built studio didn’t come overnight-they spent two years renovating what used to be a bridal-veil manufacturing facility on Willow Avenue. The result: a bright, open, and functional 8,000‑square‑foot space that balances both equipment-rich training and room to move. 
Dave leads the training front-designing programs, coaching classes, managing operations, and engaging members on social media-while Sarah manages the administrative side, including branding, apparel, and community outreach. Their goal has been consistent from day one: offer large-group and semi-private training that’s motivating, safe, inclusive, and not intimidating-all without the steep cost of one-on-one personal training.
David Romero
COACH
David is a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and holds certifications through Animal Flow Lvl 1 and KBCU Lvl 1 and has been based in the fitness industry for over 10 years. His Passion and enthusiasm for health and wellness overflows into his many hobbies such as lightsaber fencing, salsa dancing, and brushing his hair.
Keep an eye out for him bouncing around the gym during your next session.
Caitlin Procel
COACH
Cait is a NASM certified Personal Trainer. Being an athlete all her life, fitness was something that naturally fell into her life since college. Cait hold certifications in multiple Kettlebell discipline including RKC Lvl 1 and KBCU Lvl & Lvl 2 and is the program director for GRIND, our Kettlebell only class.
Cait is also Pre-Post Natal certified through the nationally accredited Girls Gone Strong. When she’s not at the gym, you can find her training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where she currently holds a black belt rank.
Alex Santos
COACH
Alex is a certified personal trainer who has over 15 years of experience in both group and one on one coaching. As an avid bike rider, Muay Thai practitioner and enjoys playing the role of Girl Dad to his toddler. He knows the value of strength and how valuable it is to prevent injury.
His goal is to assist his clients in creating a regimen that is both sustainable and satisfying. He works with working professionals as well as both new and seasoned parents and is the Director of our SPARK Kids Program. Whether it is body weight, suspension training, kettlebells or resistance training he will find the tools that best for your personal needs and line up with your goals.
Shódan Rodney
Coach
Coach Shó hails from Trinidad & Tobago. A lover of all things strength related, an asset of his decade of personal training and group training experience. He holds/held certifications from NCSF, AAFA, Precision Nutrition L1, & FMS Lvl 1. Outside of the gym he’s probably spending time with his two daughters, buried in fiction/fantasy books or working out!

Jess Butler
Coach
Jess is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). A former competitive swimmer, she fell into coaching early-working with her former teams and teaching kids of all ages how to swim.
In 2022, Jess discovered barbell training and quickly fell in love with the challenge and discipline of lifting heavy. That passion led her into coaching, where she focuses on strong movement patterns, smart progressions, and helping clients build confidence through strength-both mentally and physically.
Outside the gym, you can find her powerlifting, riding her motorcycle, or unwinding with a good book and her dog.
